Al-Marjan Island in the UAE will celebrate New Year with an unprecedented firework

On New Year's Eve, the alluvial island of Al-Marjan in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah will be illuminated with stunning fireworks.

Al-Marjan Island, a new world-class project in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, will celebrate the New Year with an impressive, first of its kind firework. The mega-event will gather visitors from all over the world, which will emphasize the role of the island in the tourism and leisure sector.

Abdullah Al Abduli, Managing Director of Al-Marjan Island, said: "We are pushing the boundaries and going beyond the obvious with the New Year gala event, which is traditionally popular among residents and visitors to the UAE."

A team of 30 engineers, pyrotechnics, manufacturers and other people involved in the event is working on a project led by Phil Grucci, Creative Director of Fireworks by Grucci. The show will use environmentally friendly organic materials such as wood, sulfur, charcoal, seawater and metals. All components were selected and assembled by Gucci at factories in New York and Virginia.

More information about the grandiose fireworks on the island of Al Marjan, including the installation of visual zones, parking lots and routes, will be revealed in the near future. The celebration will be broadcast live and on social networks.
