Russian Danila Shmelev won the Dubai Canvas Street Festival held in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. Moscow street artist Danila Shmelev became the silver medalist of the Dubai Canvas 3D Art Festival 2017, the 3D graphics festival taking place in Dubai. According to the jury, the Russian artist’s 3D illusions on the walls and on the pavement were distinguished by a deep philosophical understanding of happiness and its perception by man.
In total, artists from 25 countries took part in the festival, including 4 emirate authors who competed for a total prize pool of US $ 600 thousand. It should be noted that the festival last weekend was visited by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. He noted that the Emirates are always striving to support innovation, as they open the door to the future.
