The total number of YouTube video views per day by MENA residents is 167 million, which allows the region to take second place in the world in using this service after the United States and ahead of Brazil.

“We are witnessing a rapid increase in service users in the MENA region and expect their number to increase, especially now that we are launching the Emirate’s domain,” said Ari Kesisoglu, Google’s managing director in the region. “Our main goal is to support and stimulate regional users increase video download.
