The world-famous La Scala Academy Orchestra visited Abu Dhabi as part of the Abu Dhabi Classic season. The orchestra is led by one of the best young conductors Mikhail Tatarnikov, music director of the legendary Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg.
The program of performances included the fantastic Schumann Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A Minor performed by the magnificent French pianist David Fry, as well as Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, which expresses the struggle of high human aspirations with deceptive reality. La Scala Academy Orchestra is the brainchild of La Scala Theater, the most prestigious stage in the world of classical music. The orchestra managed to perform in the famous theaters and at international festivals. It was successfully hosted by La Scala, the Conservatory of Turin, the Grande Theater in Brescia, the Greek Theater in Pompeii and the Music Festival in Ravello.
