Charging stations for electric vehicles appeared in Dubai

SILENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL ELECTRIC CARS ARE GREATER ON THE STREETS OF DUBAI, AND THERE ARE REASONS FOR SOME, FROM THE PRICE, TO THE LACK OF PLACES FOR CHARGING THE BATTERIES AND DURATION OF THE PROCEDURE.

16 stations for recharging - this is very small for such a big city, and the lack of such stations in other cities and on the roads of the UAE makes an electric car an expensive toy, not a means of transportation.

By the end of the year, the Dubai municipality plans to open another 84 stations, and if 16 stations are opened at the branches of the DEWA utility provider, then the following stations will open in the parking lots of shopping centers, at the airport, near government buildings and in residential areas. For a full charge of dead batteries at home and at first-generation charging stations, a long time of from 2 to 8 hours is required. The Dubai municipality is going to soon deploy a network of stations at ordinary gas stations for fast (30 minutes) charging electric vehicles.

Moreover, in Dubai it will be possible to charge cars on credit - the bill for the use of charging stations can be included in the monthly DEWA bill at the request of the owner of the electric car.
