SPEECH BY RUSSIAN PITERS

Who should be a comedian to perform even in Sweden, even in Sri Lanka and in Trinidad and Tobago, even in New York or Dubai? Probably a Canadian born Indian. If the main feature of Peters were not racist jokes, we would not touch on the national question at all. He very funny parodies the Indians, and indeed all other emigrants; he clearly sees both the liberal "European" norm and the particularities of emigrants, and always comes out with a complacent Canadian position. It is as if he is in a gum club of the 70s: he tells stories from life, shares his impressions, plays a lot of characters and communicates with the audience. It’s right to count the number of well-configured stand-up comedians now, which is probably why Peters takes the most for his shows.

Location: Dubai, Dubai World Trade Center.

PREMIERE FILM "SURVIVOR"

The new film by the talented director Alejandro González Iñárritu ("21 grams", "Babylon") "Survivor" is harsh weather, ultra-speed, adrenaline, fear, anger and unbending willpower. On an 1823 expedition through uncharted wilderness, hunter Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) was attacked by a bear, and fellow worker John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy), who escaped from bad debts, threw the dying Glass alone, when suddenly the plot took an unexpected turn. According to rumors, Inarritu showed himself on the set of a very authoritarian director, which is why some actors even left the project. “If we shot this film against a green screen with special effects, with cups of coffee in our hands, had a good time and were happy, then most likely the film would not have worked,” admitted Oscar-winning Alejandro González Iñárritu.

January 21

PREMIERE FILM "OUR BRAND-CRISIS"

“Our Brand Crisis” was produced by George Clooney with Sandra Bullock, a retired political consultant Jane Bodin, nicknamed Catastrophe, which does not burn in fire, does not sink in water and helps Bolivian presidential candidate Pedro Castillo (Joaquim di Almeida) win the 2002 election of the year. There is good news for film enthusiasts: Billy Bob Thornton starred as Jane's main rival, Pat Candy, who represents the opposition. Critics of The Guardian have shattered this new film by director David Gordon Green (Joe, Manglorn). And unfairly - the film is quite nice and light.
