Christian Louboutin has prepared a collection for the release of "Star Wars"

Christian Louboutin teams up with Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm to present something unique.

In the wake of the successful collaboration in the release of Cinderella and Maleficent, Christian Louboutin is pleased to work again with The Walt Disney Studios in anticipation of the release of the long-awaited eighth of the Star Wars saga.

Lucasfilm Studios invited a designer to San Francisco earlier this year. Here he was met at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), VFX's innovative studio and animation for the Star Wars franchise. In discussions with the Vice President and Executive Creative Director of the Star Wars franchise, Doug Chang, the idea of a masterpiece was born - a creative and innovative combination of creativity and the skills of the Christian Louboutin and Star Wars teams.

“The Disney proposal for Star Wars was completely unexpected. It surprised me,” Christian Louboutin said, “But I like the surprises, and I was especially intrigued! At first glance, the Star Wars universe and I seemed like distant friends from a friend, but when I saw photos of the red planet Krayt, I immediately realized how all this is connected, and why they thought about me. "

Christian Louboutin has prepared four exclusive shoe styles for exhibits for the premiere of the film in Los Angeles. They personify the image of the four heroines of the film: Ray (Daisy Ridley), Vice Admiral Amilin Holdo (Laura Dern), Captain Phasma (Gwendolyn Christie) and Rose Tiko (Kelly Marie Tran).

Rei's image found itself in leather sandals on clasps inspired by the character's costumes and her Jedi abilities, as well as the Force she embodies. The style is emphasized by a blue rhinestone, referring to the color of her lightsaber.

Vice Admiral Amilin Holdo's shoes are a natural extension of her costume, inspired by a burgundy cloak and a strong, restrained and domineering character.

Captain Phasma’s footwear refers to her armor and reflects her strict and authoritarian character.

The image of Rosa Tiko is realized in sandals, conceived by Christian Louboutin as a reflection of technical, engineering thought.

Each exhibit is decorated with an individual gem.

“Christian Louboutin’s shoes are truly functional works of art, and we were pleased to collaborate with him on the Nomad Shoemaker,” said Doug Chang. “The projects I create for films are intended for cinematic perception, and Christian is establishing a deep, genuine relationship with his clients. Through this collaboration, he masterfully breathed the spirit of Star Wars into his amazing, unique creations. "

The shoe exhibition will feature a hyperrealistic holographic installation. For a designer, using a hologram was the best way to express their vision: a combination of creativity, magic and technology. For him, the hologram is the most iconic visual effect of the franchise.

Commemorative lots - each signed by a designer, as well as an actress whose character inspired the style of the lot - will be auctioned at charitybuzz.com/StarWars from December 7 to 20. Part of the funds will be used to finance the Starlight Children's Fund on behalf of Star Wars: Force for Change, a charity initiative by Lucasfilm and Disney.
