Every tourist who arrives in Dubai will receive a free SIM card for 30 days.
Dubai, UAE. All tourists arriving in Dubai will now receive a free SIM card valid for 30 days. Such an agreement was reached by the telecommunications operator Du Telecommunications, the Directorate General for Residency and International Relations and the management of Smart Dubai.
Sim cards will be issued to all adult tourists at the immigration counter: each card will have 3 minutes of free time for phone calls and 20 megabytes of Internet on the balance sheet, which can be used for a month. Currently, departments are working to ensure that the card is automatically deactivated when a tourist leaves the UAE.
Tourists will be able to get SIM cards at all three terminals of Dubai International Airport. The initiative aims to increase their happiness during their stay in Dubai.
