Largest Indian Hotel Chain Comes to Dubai

The operator Lemon Tree Hotels from India will launch its first hotel in Dubai.

The largest hotel chain in the mid-price segment of the Indian market - Lemon Tree Hotels Limited - has announced plans to launch its first hotel in Dubai.

The Al Waleed Real Estate hotel will be launched in the emirate in the third quarter of next year. The facility is located on Al Wasl Road. The hotel will have 114 rooms and suites, a restaurant with several kitchens, a conference room, a pool and a fitness center.

Rattan Keswani, Deputy Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels, said: "We are pleased to enter the Dubai market with our partners Al Waleed Real Estate. This is our first hotel in the UAE, and we feel that it has great business potential."

Muhammad Abdulrazak Abdul Aziz Al-Mutawa, CEO of Al Waleed Real Estate, added: "There is a request for a hotel in the mid-price segment of this level, and we found out that Lemon Tree Hotels could be the most suitable partner for the project, given that India is already more than three years is the largest source of tourists for Dubai and the UAE as a whole. Lemon Tree Hotels opened its first hotel in May 2004 and currently manages about five thousand rooms in 51 hotels.
