UAE resident finds one of the deadliest snakes in the world near his home

A resident of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah noticed next to his house how a cat plays with one of the most dangerous snakes on Earth.

A resident of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, met one of the deadliest snakes in the world - a cat played with her near his house.

We are talking about a poisonous viper, which is found in Africa, in some regions of Asia and the Middle East. Thousands of people die every year from her bites.

The British saw Stephen Waldron on Sunday evening. He spotted a deadly viper on the road, but was unaware of the danger.

“For the first time in three and a half years in the UAE, I saw a snake,” Mr. Waldron said.

He took a picture of a viper, which was about 15 cm long. Stephen's friends helped drive the snake away from the house and the cat.

"The snake got angry and attacked several times, but it turned out to be too small to reach anyone," the man said.

Dr. Chenzherai Sigauke from the animal protection center of Ras Al Khaimah determined from the photo that it was an efa snake. He said that this snake is most active at night and makes a hissing sound before an attack.

The doctor added that these snakes are quite aggressive and cause high mortality in the regions where they are found. He warned that in the event of a meeting with the Aeths, it is better to contact professionals.
