Zaha Hadid's bureau will be engaged in a mega-project in the UAE

Zaha Hadid Architectural Bureau will design a mega-project in the emirate of Sharjah.

It became known that the design of Central Hub - the central element of the mega-project of the emirate of Sharjah, UAE - will be engaged in one of the most famous architectural bureaus in the world - Zaha Hadid Architects.

The central observation tower in the project will be surrounded by water bodies and gardens.

In the last quarter of 2018, the first stage of the Central Hub will be launched, which will include the opening of the ARADA shopping center, the statement said.

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Qasimi, chairman of ARADA, said: "The integrated approach to the design of Zaha Hadid Architects is consistent with our vision of Central Hub in Aljada. This approach is synonymous with ARADA's mission to develop healthy and charming communities that are the key to tomorrow in Sharjah."

The Central Hub will be the heart and main attraction for tourists and locals of the $ 6.8 billion mega-project.

The Zaha Hadid Architects project includes the use of treated wastewater, which will benefit greenery. At the first stage, the Central Hub will also be equipped with an entertainment area, an area with food trucks, in which local brands and venues for outdoor events will be presented.

Last September, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, introduced the Aljada project. Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2018, and the entire project is expected to be completed by 2025.
