Fire alarm systems will be installed for free in UAE citizens' houses

After the tragic death of 7 children in the United Arab Emirates, the country's authorities announced the free installation of fire alarms in citizens' houses.

Each house of UAE citizens will be equipped with a fire alarm at the expense of the government. This was announced on Monday, January 22, after a fire in the emirate of Fujairah, which claimed the lives of seven children.

Through Twitter at the Dubai Media Office, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, ordered the immediate installation of fire alarms.

He said the UAE government would bear the cost for anyone who could not afford to set up a warning system.

Recall that on Monday night, seven children from the same family died as a result of suffocation due to a fire in the house. The oldest of the children was 13 years old, and the youngest was five.
