Doctors from the UAE warn residents about the increased number of plastic surgeries performed by unlicensed surgeons.

Such procedures can lead to infections and abscesses and more serious consequences.

Treatments involving patients ’visits include buttock augmentation, liposuction, breast augmentation, and everything related to Botox.

Dr. Leon Alexander, a plastic surgery specialist at Universal Hospital, told the Khaleej Times that he receives at least one application every month from a patient who is a victim of a surgeon without a license.

"Various so-called doctors and clinics endanger people's lives by carrying out procedures that they are not allowed to legally conduct," he added.
