In the United Arab Emirates, Russian students talked about Russia

On December 12 and 13, activists of the Russian Cultural Club again surprised the UAE youth with their next event. In Sharjah, an action entitled “Tell us about Russia” was held for two days, which included a photo exhibition “Three“ capitals ”of Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan.”

Russian youth demonstrated to students from the UAE what the largest Russian cities look like today, concentrating the exhibits of the photo exhibition on the main attractions, large monuments, significant government offices and picturesque views of cities. So, of course, the Kremlin and Red Square became the highlight of the Moscow stand. The northern capital - the city of St. Petersburg was represented by views of numerous architectural monuments: the Hermitage, the ensemble of Peterhof, the Peter and Paul Fortress. Kazan Kremlin, the university that celebrated its 210th anniversary, the Kul Sharif mosque and city views flaunted in photographs of Kazan.

In addition to a rich and varied photo exposure, an online presentation of all three cities was broadcast throughout the event. They described in detail the history and significance of each of these cities for Russia, their geographical location, age, historical monuments, etc. The presentation aroused great interest not only among students, but also among university teachers. As part of the presentation, which was in English, club activists handed out to all participants in the event T-shirts of the Russian Cultural Club, as well as brochures on a new tourist destination in Russia: Moscow - St. Petersburg - Kazan.

It is pleasant to note that the exhibition was visited by the multinational student community of the American University of Sharjah. Many guys expressed a desire to visit the Moscow Kremlin, St. Petersburg during the "white nights", as well as Kazan, as one of the centers of Muslim culture in the Russian Federation. Guests of the event were impressed by the cultural diversity and versatility of the history and traditions of our country. It was pleasant to note the high interest in the Orthodox culture of Russia. In this sense, special attention was focused on St. Petersburg with its many Orthodox churches and monasteries. The capital of Russia - the city of Moscow was interesting to all, without exception, visitors to the exhibition. Kazan attracted everyone as a youth and sports center of Russia. Club activists told everyone present about the long and rich history of each of the cities and about the significant events associated with them, both in the distant past and in the near future.

Thus, the RKK congratulated the Russian Federation and all its citizens on the recent holiday of the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation. It is pleasant to realize that today, thanks to the organization of a thematic photo exhibition, another 200 people know more about Russia and its inhabitants, they want to visit our country to study its features and identity. The Russian Cultural Club expresses its gratitude to the mayor's office of Kazan and its general information sponsor, Russian Emirates Publishing House, for providing assistance in holding the event.
