The Golden Chariot Award ceremony, which was held at the Shangri-La Dubai Hotel, was attended by representatives of ministries and departments of Russia and the UAE, State Duma deputies, official delegations from Europe, Australia, North Africa and the Middle East, business circles and embassies Russia and CIS countries in the UAE. At the beginning of the evening the guests were read a welcome message from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
Further, according to tradition, the awarding ceremony was opened by the Honorary Chairman of the Presidium of the Golden Chariot Prize, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, head of the Gas Union of the Russian Federation Valery Afonasevich Yazev, who specially arrived on this occasion in Dubai as part of the Russian delegation.
In particular, he said: “Since its inception, the Golden Chariot Award of the transport industry has promoted the achievements of the best transport enterprises, their leaders, high-quality transport services, development of the transport system. A wide-scale representation of industry leaders will increase its investment attractiveness, improve information and public background, both among the Russian and world business elite. The Golden Chariot award in Dubai testifies to the successful development of economic relations between Russia and the UAE. "
The meeting was also addressed by the chairman of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Igor Egorov, announcing that a specialized Department of Transport and Logistics had been created within the framework of the RSP and expressed hope for expanding multilateral cooperation with companies from Russia and other countries in this direction.
“For the RSP, it is a great honor to become the organizer of such an important international event. Dubai has joined Moscow and Berlin as the venue for the Golden Chariot Award Ceremony. This is a great opportunity for communication between the heads of Russian and Emirate companies, airlines, transport companies, ports and related departments of both countries to discuss the further development of bilateral trade and transport routes between the CIS and the Middle East, "said Igor Egorov, chairman of the RSP. He also noted that in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and other emirates, the number of logistics companies working with Russia is growing.
Then began the solemn celebration of the Golden Chariot prize winners, the list of which included such organizations that made their
Emirates Group, Flydubai airline, EZW (Jebel Ali Free Zone), Chrysler Group, Australian Department of Transportation, as well as well-known companies from Russia and the CIS.
Within the framework of the event, all those who supported the Council from the moment of its foundation, namely: the Russian Embassy in the UAE and personally the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Andrei Vladimirovich Andreev; Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and personally its Director General, His Excellency Hamad Buamim; as well as the Arab Business Club, the law firm “Cramer-Salamian” and the only business magazine in Russian in the Middle East, “Business Emirates”. The Seventh International Golden Chariot Award Ceremony was hosted by Anna Popova and Mohammed Khater, members of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The concert program was attended by the stars of the dance studio JLT Dance Studios and the duo of guitarists "Alma". The award ceremony of the Golden Chariot International Award could not have taken place without the support of old and new friends of this project.
